There is no better way to get introduced to the game of curling, than to try it … let us get you started at our very modern club!
The Royal Kingston Curling Club has 6-sheets of ice, that can be rented in hourly increments, to host you and your friends. Be it a small group of eight, or an office party of 50+, we can get you on the ice to try the game first hand.

For those who rent the ice, the use of the bar and lounge area is included at no extra cost, making RKCC a perfect choice for an office or family party ... incorporate a dinner and make a day of it. We deal with most of the city's catering companies and would be happy to suggest one for you, but feel free to make your own arrangements. For a modest fee you can use our kitchen facilities to prepare and serve simple meals … just ask us how to help customize your time here at the club.

Lounge Rentals
The Royal Kingston Curling Club wants you and your group to consider renting our facility for your next function.
Whether you are looking to host a Jack & Jill, wedding reception, family gathering, birthday party or business related event, our brand-new facility offers exceptional amenities to help make it a success!
We offer a large, spacious lounge, able to comfortably accommodate anywhere from 20 – 160+ guests, along with a well stocked, beautifully appointed bar and a restaurant grade kitchen.
Our facility, located at 130 Days Road, offers plenty of parking and is easy to find from the 401 and/or area hotels and motels.
Our fee schedule is very competitive and offers discounts for club members and smaller group bookings. Kitchen privileges can be arranged and, while all booking fees require one bartender on staff, extra bartenders can be provided by the hour.
2024-25 Lounge Rental Fee Schedule
- Full hall rental $550 for up to 6 hours – additional hours $110 per hour to a maximum of $825
- Full hall rental for any RKCC member $385 for up to 6 hours – additional hours $83 per hour to a maximum of $660
- Half hall rental (30 or fewer guests) $330 for up to 6 hours
- Half hall rental for any RKCC member (30 or fewer guests) $220 for up to 6 hours
- Kitchen fee may apply (deposits and cleaning) $83 – $193)
- Minimum one staff/bar steward for every 50 guests for the 6 hour period $122
- Each additional bartender required $28 per hour (additional bartenders available as needed with a 3hr minimum)
- Socan/resound fee will be applied if there is any music or dancing

At this time, the club does not offer on-site catering options. At this time, any group using our lounge is welcome to hire a caterer and/or bring in their own food (kitchen fees may apply). If you need a recommendation, we will gladly give you the name and number of some local companies that have catered to our facility in the past.
Decorated and setup for 130 people at this particular, catered function, this shot offers an idea of what could be possible for your event. There is room to comfortably accommodate 150+ to a sit down meal, and our liquor licence allows for 238 on-site ... big or small, this room offers options. Video monitors are available and can be used to broadcast slide shows or videos, if needed.

This beautiful, oak bar is served by 9 draught lines, and is always stocked with a wide variety of bottled beers, liquors, liqueurs and house wine. If your function requires a brand that we don't regularly carry, simply give us some notice and we will get it in for the night of your event. This proves most helpful when a reception is looking for a particular vintage of wine for table service ... we will work with you to find and supply exactly what suits your event best.
Our in-house PA system offers a number of microphone jacks throughout the lounge, which allows for options when deciding on head table/master of ceremony placement. The use of our PA is included in the hall rental, for your convenience.
The off-season for our facility books up quickly, so please contact us with rental requests at your earliest, convenient opportunity.

Kitchen
2022-23 Kitchen Rental Fee Schedule
Use of Kitchen for:
- Prepping or packaging food products only – $18 per hour, minimum 2 hours
- Cooking or holding food using the ovens burners etc – $20 per hour, minimum 3 hours
- Caterer charge for events $20 per hour to a maximum $200 for the event
- A $25 clean up fee and a $100 deposit fee may be charged
- All useage of the kitchen must be accompanied by a valid insurance policy with RKCC named
All pricing is subject to applicable taxes
The kitchen facility at the RKCC is outstanding. The cooking area is outfitted with commercial grade equipment, capable of creating restaurant quality food for very large groups. Most caterers bring the food in already prepared, and simply use our kitchen to warm dishes up for serving, but if needed, our kitchen can be used to prep and cook your dinner.
Clean up area is spacious, and a nearby exit allows for garbage to be easily and immediately removed from service area.
Prep area is extensive ... more than enough room for two or three jobs at once.
Boardroom
Boardroom Rentals
The RKCC Boardroom is available for rental at $38 per hour (plus HST), with a daily rate of $195 (plus HST) and a weekly rate of $710 (plus HST).
How many does it seat?
The tables, as designed and placed, will seat 17–18. If you separate them to allow eight per table, then you can seat 32 fairly comfortably. This arrangement could be used for more of a speech/seminar environment.

How many courts do you have?
We have 6 courts with active league and drop-in play Monday to Friday, days and evenings.
July and August is extra busy when the Seniors Association comes here and plays 3 mornings a week. Please check out our Club Calendar for details.
