This course is for curlers who have completed the Learn2Curl program, have less than two years experience, and want to continue curling in a supportive and fun setting. There will be opportunities for on ice consultation and to work together with an experienced instructor. 

Curling is called ‘Chess on Ice’ for very good reasons: strategic moves and countermoves.  Learn2Curl taught you how all the pieces move.  Novice Club takes over where the Learn2Curl program left off - it will teach you how the game is played! 

Existing Club Members: Please note that if you have less than 2 years of experience and want to improve and experience your own ‘Ah Ha’ moments, you will also be able to join the Novice Club (at no cost) subject to available capacity.

Curling for a Cause: Holiday Edition

Ready to hit the ice for a great cause? Join us for our inaugural Curling Event, where friendly competition, community spirit, and holiday giving come together for a memorable day on the ice.

This is a fundraising bonspiel in support of The Boys and Girls Club Holiday Campaign in our community.

Keep the Ice Clean 

Our Keep the Ice Clean initiative is up and running. Everyone entering the building - members and visitors -  is asked to remove their outdoor shoes and boots. We want to keep the grit and sand out of the building so that it is not tracked into the ice shed. You are encouraged to bring your favourite pair of indoor footwear with you. There are shoe racks near the main lobby and also at the rear entrance hallway where you can temporarily store your outdoor shoes. Please note that these racks are only for your outdoor footwear while you are in the club and you are asked to take your indoor footwear home with you or keep it in your locker.
